Twice the culinary fun with this year’s Restaurant Safari events!

Following its success last year, the much anticipated Restaurant Safari is set to return as part of Hull Global Food Fest, this time with two different locations to choose from! The first safari will take place on Tuesday 19th  on Princes Avenue and the second safari will take place around Hull city centre, Thursday 21st, the night before the festival commences.

The safari offers is an innovative culinary experience, allowing diners to sample the best dishes that Hull has to offer, all in one evening. With a starter in one restaurant, the main in a second and then desert in a third, the restaurants are all within walking distance, meaning diners can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine!

Joining forces on Princes Avenue are chefs from Fudge Café – Restaurant, The Lounge and Marrakech Ave, whilst the restaurants in Hull City Centre will be Quayside, Cook’s Endeavour and the Holiday Inn. Each restaurant will deliver a menu, which reflects their individual style and will give diners the opportunity to enjoy the best restaurants that Hull has to offer.

The event was a sell out success last year, and this year hopes to appeal to an even wider audience as event organiser Debby Burman explains:

“The safari was really good fun last year and we had some great feedback from all who attended. It’s nice for people to try out 3 restaurants in one evening, especially if they haven’t been to them before! The addition of the Princes Avenue Safari is in response to the interest we have had about running an event in that area, which has become such a popular area to live and socialise. As with last year, we are sure this event will show people the great cuisine that is right on their doorstep!”
